Mark Marlais Obituary

Passed away peacefully at his home in Santa Rosa on October 8, 2010, at the age of 92. He is survived by his beloved wife Beatrice; son Mark William and family; brothers Andrew and Gus of Dublin. Mark was born in Oakland where he attended school. He graduated from Chico State College and later the University of California at Berkeley. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1942-1946 as a commander in the Pacific Theater. Following the service he commenced his many years as an educator, culminating in positions as administrator at Laney College, Oakland. After retirement in 1974 they moved to Napa Valley and followed an avid interest in grape growing. As a member of Mt. St. Helena Golf Club he played golf and tennis daily. They moved to Windsor in 2001 and most recently to Santa Rosa. Private services were held. DANIELS CHAPEL OF THE ROSES FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES 525-3730

To Bea,
