I was completely shocked to see you had past away. I only wished we would have stayed connected after you moved away from San Leandro. I had so much fun shopping, sewing and having coffee with you. You were my best friend and the best neighbor. I will keep you In my heart forever!!

Dear Paul, Jessica, Susie.... family & friends,
I still cannot believe she is really gone... but she will always have a place in my heart. I will never forget all the good times and bad times we shared in the classroom and on our wild fieldtrips.... I'm sure we drove Mr. Swindle crazy... She was my shopping buddy... my Carl's Jr. Jalepeno burger buddy... and most of all, my good good friend. I will miss her dearly. Life will never be the same, but we must stay strong, because that is what she would have wanted us to do. May God comfort and strengthen you...

When I got the call about MaryKay my heart dropped and I could not believe what I was hearing. I would hate to hear what Paul and the girls must be enduring.
She and I worked closely together. We became close friends. She was the most sweetest person I have ever known. She loved her family as well as her students.
She will be greatly missed.
I love you, MaryKay

Heyden Family-

As a former Santa Rosa high student, who actually graduated with Jessica, I am very saddened by Mary Kay's passing. She was always very sweet, and had a smile on her face. My thoughts are with you all during this time. I know the school, teachers and students will be eternally grateful for Mary Kay's exceptional work and she will be greatly missed.
