Robert Fraser Obituary

Bob passed away peacefully at his home in Novato. He was born and raised in San Francisco and moved to Novato in 1964. Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years Marilyn Figone Fraser. He leaves his two amazing children Lisa A. Holmes (Ken) and Robert A. Fraser; and four fantastic grandchildren: Lauren and Steven DeBiasio, Marissa and Alexis Fraser. Bob was predeceased earlier this year by his brother Ron and has never forgotten his faithful lab Amiga. Bob leaves many friends and family. Bob worked and managed Figone Furniture Co. in San Francisco until it's closing in 1987. He proudly served four years in the U.S. Navy. Bob was a very grateful, 41 year friend of Bill W. The family wishes to extend special thanks to all of his Bill W. friends, to his cousin Robert Ruggeri for his ability to keep Bob laughing, to his loving care giver Ali Coyle Anaya and to the Hospice by the Bay, especially Laurie Anne Jones his nurse. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of his life service, November 7, 2010, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., at the Marin Rod and Gun Club, San Rafael. Casual attire. Donations may be made in Bob's memory to Hospice by the Bay, 17 E. Sir Francis Drake Blvd., Larkspur, CA 94939 For information contact: MOUNT TAMALPAIS MORTUARY, (415) 459-2500

My sincere condolences. Bob was a big part of my time being friends of Bill W. Where Bob was I learned to be there too. It worked and continues to work. He was a great teacher. I will miss him and so will all our friends. My best to all of his family.
