Alberta Catherine Finn

After a rich and fulfilling life, Alberta Catherine Finn passed away in her sleep on November 5, 2010 to join her beloved husband Charlie. Alberta was born in San Francisco on August 13, 1911. She lived there until 1942 when she, Charlie and her two small sons moved to Fairfax. During their years together, "Bert" had two more children, was an active member of the Catholic Church, and a founding member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court of St. Agnes. To be nearer to her family she moved to Petaluma in 1977, where she resided until her death. Alberta is survived by her four children: Bill Finn, Fresno, Bob Finn, Texas, Carol Street, Petaluma, Mary Oppenheim, Santa Cruz, and their spouses; as well as fifteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Alberta will be missed by many for her loving and caring spirit. A memorial service is planned to celebrate her life on Tuesday, November 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Petaluma.
