Berna Lakatos Obituary

Passed away at home in Petaluma, CA., Sunday, August 29, 2010, beloved wife of Louis Lakatos. Loving mother of Steven (Vickie) Lakatos and David (Kathy Hagchell) Lakatos. Dear grandmother of Beth, Eric, Willie and Marshall. Great grandmother of five. Beloved sister of Earl Wacker, Ervin Wacker and the late Marvin Wacker, Anna Grimm Kelly, Lilly Feickert, Elsie Elliott and Idelleta Wacker. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A native of North Dakota, Age 87 years. A resident of Petaluma for 65 years, Berna worked for over 30 years at Decker's Photography Studio and later for the Salvation Army. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma, followed by committal services at 1:30 p.m. at Cypress Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family prefer memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma.
