Brad Baechtel Obituary

Brad passed away suddenly on June 2, at age 37. He was a very special person we look forward to seeing on the other side. He leaves behind his two-year-old daughter, Ariana, and her mother Jenny Cali, parents Joyce and Gordon Baechtel, brothers Sam (Elena), Harry (Lindsay) and six nieces and nephews. Brad's most recent jobs were selling Hummus for the Hummus Guy and Subscriptions for the Press Democrat. There are so many wonderful things to say about Brad we are hoping everyone who knew him will come to his memorial service to share thoughts and feelings about him. If you wish, please email us with your memories: [email protected]. In lieu of flowers donations to a fund for Ariana can be sent to the Brad Baechtel Memorial fund at any Westamerica branch. The memorial service will be held Friday June 17, at 7:00 p.m. at the LDS church, 5301 Badger Road, Santa Rosa.

Dear Brother Brad,
I remember the first day I met you.
You hugged me, kissed my forehead, welcomed me and called me your sister.
Always being so loving, caring and helping so many with your beautiful words and the great big heart you had.
I will never forget how loving you were to all who surrounded you.
Remembering the way you sang to me your favorite song…. I will cherish it forever.
I will never forget your loud laughs and your beautiful big smile.
Remembering all the wonderful memories we got to share with you. Memories will never be forgotten nor will you Dear Brother.
Thank you for being that special person that god put in my life.
I know one day, I will see you again.
I love you Brad.

I'm very sorry to hear of Brad's passing. I havent seen him in about 25+ years. We were childhood friends, I lived up the street. I can clearly remember him chasing me over his fence and my foot landing on a nail! We laughed about it the next day. God bless his family during this hard time.
