It still doesn't even seem possible to me that you are no longer here with us, I still think that one of these days I'm going to wake up from this bad dream and you are going to come walking in through that back door, walk into my office and give me a hug and we will sit and talk about everything like we used to. I know that you are still with us in spirit and not a day goes by that I don't think about you! I love you so very much and I can't even begin to explain how much I miss you! You were an amazing women, mother, daughter, sister and friend and you will forever be remembered and missed!

In addition to my last entry.......I always think of Carla while mowing the lawn,ALWAYS! I had never seen a woman mow a lawn, it was very impressionable as I was a young wife at the time. My husband is thrilled that I took it upon myself to take on the task like my independent strong neighbor Carla did. Love you Carla, your strong independence made me realize I can do more than I think, well at least you made me feel bad leaving all that work for my husband, so "he" thanks you. Rest in Peace my dear, I trust you are in a wonderful place.XOXO

I'm still in such shock. I often still think about picking up the phone or sending a text or email to Carla. She will always live in my heart. I will always be thankful for the time that I was able to spend with Carla as a business partner & friend . I don't think I will ever come across such a unique, strong, but loving individual as Carla. She taught me so much and I will miss the lessons as I go on in life. Hopefully she can somehow still share her strength with us from above.
My deepest condolences and love go out to Carla's family. They had an amazing mother, daughter, & sister.

So sorry to hear about Carla's passing. I know that she raised two amazing children, so she will live on thru them.
In the 90's I found myself divorced with a rather large house to keep up...I will never forget Carla driving up with the lawnmower in the back of her truck! She proceeded to mow my lawn and lighten my load.
My daughter and I spent many a night with her and Eric and Larissa, hanging out, bbqing, etc in Cloverdale. Carla will be missed and never replaced. But years later I still smile when I think of our times together... RIP

Eric and Larissa~ Our hearts go out to you. We have such fond memories of you guys and your mom. She was so independent taking such great care of you both. She was always busy doing tons of projects around the house, very self sufficient, lots of fun, great energy. It is very strange that she is gone, we are so sad to hear of her passing. I trust she passed on great things to you both, she loved you so,God bless her. Please take care of each other. All our love. Berk-Niki-and Mika White

Carla was bigger than life. She was a great business woman but also a great mother. My son, Grady, loved to spend the night at her house when he was young because she always made him pancakes or french toast and catered to him like crazy. We had some crazy fun times together and it seems impossible that she's not here anymore.
