Cynthia Rogan Obituary

Cynthia Rogan ("Cyd") went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 14, 2010. She was 52. A resident of Windsor, California, Cyd passed away during a visit to see her mother in Oregon City, Oregon. Cyndi was a loving and adoring mother and grandmother, a cherished wife and a wonderful daughter. She was both a CPA, holding an accounting degree from Sonoma State University, as well as an RN with a nursing degree from Pacific Union College. Cyndi was a faithful Christian who was a Charter Member of Vineyard of Faith Church in Windsor, California. Over the years, Cyndi served the Lord in the Church, in everything from the Children's and Sunday-Worship Ministries to singing in the Choir, and had been a Discussion Leader in BSF. Cyndi loved the water and enjoyed swimming from the time she was a little girl, and swam competition in her High School years. In recent years, she enjoyed Jet Skiing, and scuba diving with her husband in Barbados. She even got her feet wet in the Artic Ocean, in "Coldfoot Alaska", and enjoyed telling that story to friends and family. She also loved to sew and knit, and had a real knack for interior design. Cyd is survived by her husband, Richard Rogan; her three sons, David, Christopher and Michael Huebel, her step-children, Jonathan and Rachael; her daughter-in-law Tiffany; and two beautiful grand-daughters, Chloe and Fia. She was pre-deceased by her father, Donald Anderson; survived by her mother, Shirley Anderson Burt; siblings, Daniel, Matthew and Jennifer; her Aunt Dee Dee and Uncle Edward Knapp; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all. Service will be at Vineyard of Faith Church in Windsor, California on October 30 at 11:00 am.

After hearing the news …my breath was taken and thoughts of you circle in an endless loop. Our last conversation, your last response “hmmm…not so good”. I just had no idea. I felt your pain that day, and yet no words of comfort came. Jesus was always first in your heart, thoughts, words & deeds and I smile knowing ...you have received all the promises and are smiling down on us too… RIP Cyndi

I went to High School with Cyndi and remember how involved she was with the clubs and ativities.
She was a very caring and thoughtful young lady and you could feel the love, when she talked about her family. She will be missed so very much. My thoughts and prayers to her family.
