Elmera Marie "Mera" Leboy

Surrounded by her family, Mera peacefully and joyfully went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, October 15, 2010 at the age of 79. Mera was the loving and dedicated wife of 49 years to her husband Dennis who preceded her in death in September of 2006. Together they raised two children, Michael (Debbie) of Rohnert Park, CA and David of Oakland, CA. Mera was born in San Francisco, CA and lived most of her life in San Bruno, CA until they moved to Rohnert Park, CA in 2003. She was a homemaker for many years and adored and cared for her two grandsons Brandon and Joshua. She will be greatly missed by her brothers and sisters, Lucy (John) of Camino, CA, George (Ophelia) of Wilton, CA, Gloria of Soquel, CA, Herb of Petaluma, CA, Richard of San Francisco and Anita also of San Francisco. Preceded in death were brothers: Harry, Edward (Barbara) and Jim. Mera is survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins and loved by many other friends and family members. Mera enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, gardening, walking on the beach with her husband, listening to the radio and talking with friends on the phone. Mera was best known for welcoming family and friends into her home with a meal and a smile. But most of all she enjoyed reading her Bible and sharing the Love of Jesus Christ with everyone she met. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at SANTA ROSA MEMORIAL PARK, 1900 Franklin Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA.
