Henry Gross Obituary

58 years. "Dedicated, Compassionate, Respectful" Passed away November 9, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 7, 1952 to Gilbert and Anna Gross. Raised on Long Island, New York. Hank worked in the mental health field and dedicated his life to helping others. He enjoyed cooking, loved sports and his dog Jack. Predeceased by his parents and his older brother David, he is survived by his beloved daughter, Rachael; ex-wife Wendy Klain Gross; sister, Marcia (John) Paternoster; brother Robert (Kristie) Gross; nephews and nieces Ronald Paternoster, Katherine (Kyle) Wahlstrom, Adrienne (Derek) Padden, and Hannah (Chris) Robbins, Matilda (Omar) Cabrera, Sarah Gross and Jacob Gross; a grand niece, many grand nephews; good friend Rita Nevins and her family. He will be missed by many. The Family wishes to express their gratitude to Creekside for the loving care given to Hank during his last few days. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service November 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL, 4321 Sonoma Hwy., Santa Rosa. Memorial Donations may be made in Hank's memory to Orenda Center, 1430 Neotomas Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95405.
