Jean Louise Peterson

Jean Louise Peterson beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, went home to be with the Lord and to be reunited with husband Roy J. Peterson, son Brad Peterson, parents Arthur and Margarite Huff and many friends and loved ones on, October 31, 2010. She is survived by her children Keith Peterson, Nancy Gaitan and Richard Peterson along with their spouses, Michael Gaitan, and Mary Peterson. Also grandchildren Marlee Wellingtom, Aarick, Lucas, Ariana, Stewart, Maureen, Emily, Annie, Mary Kate, Joseph Peterson and great-grandchildren. Jean was loved and admired by many. She lived a life of love and devotion to others and will be greatly missed. She loved singing with Sweet Adeline's, helping her husband with the family business and raising her children. When her husband Roy died in 1979 at the age of 56, Jean went back to school and got her credits so that she could help other widows and widowers going through the same thing. She helped to pioneer several programs through the Family Service Agency in Santa Rosa, CA, including the Classics, Step into life and others. After her retirement, she moved to Lake County to be with her daughter Nancy and her Son-In-Law Michael. Where she continued to touch people's hearts. Jean enjoyed attending her son-in-law's church, going to a women's bible study and senior dinners, as long as she was able. A memorial service to celebrate Jeans life will be held at the Northbay Christian Faith Center, located at 920 Link Lane Santa Rosa CA, on Saturday November 6, 2010, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Donations may be made in Jean's name to Family Service Agency of Sonoma County or Solid Rock Church, P.O.
