Jean Johnston Obituary

Passed away on October 16th, 2010. Jean will live in the house and heart of her Lord. She would have been 91 in December. Mourning her passing are her children and their families; Ross, Marcia, Kevin, Greta and Paul. Jean and husband Richard came to California in 1952 and moved to Santa Rosa in 1957. Jean lived in Santa Barbara, California from 2000 until her passing this month. She was born in Chicago, Illinois December 16th, 1919. Jean was always active in the Swedish emigrant community and an avid swimmer. In her youth she won many diving medals. Jean was married to Richard in 1948. Jean's passion was her family. Her faith in Jesus gave her a strong constitution. Jean will be greatly missed by family and friends. A celebration of life was held October 30th at the Santa Barbara Community Church. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Santa Barbara Christian School or The American Heart Association.
