John Dale Delisle

John was born on August 11, 1953 at Healdsburg General Hospital and passed away on October 5, 2010 surrounded by loving family and friends. John was proud to have been born and raised in Healdsburg. John was a man of many trades, pipe fitter, winery machine fabricator, roofer, grape grower, road builder, rural land developer, alternate power specialist and woodsman. John was always there to lend a hand at the drop of a hat. John, his wife Judy, and son Jake, built a wonderful life on their ranch in the hills above the Dry Creek Valley, building their homes from the ground up with the help of family and friends. John was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Opal Delisle. John is survived by his wife Judy; son Jake; brothers Jack, Dick and Jerry Eddinger, sisters Mary McCord, Marta Delisle Spear, and sister in law, MaryAnn/Randy Waters, and Joyce Street; dear and caring niece Donna Nola; numerous family members from the Fincher and Eddinger families; as well as many friends and extended family. John was blessed with so many caregivers. Special thanks go to Mary, Joyce, Donna, Pony, Shawn, Marta, Karen, and Sandy and Al at Heartland Hospice. Special thanks to Dr. Ye and the Oncology and Infusion Department at Kaiser Permanente. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on November 6th, at 1:00 p.m. at Lago Di Merlo, 3495 Skaggs Springs Rd. Healdsburg.
