John Giampaoli Obituary

Died at home, surrounded by his family, in Cloverdale June 9, 2011 at the age of 93. He was the loving father of Debbi (Frank) Davis and Butch (Peggy) Giampaoli. John was the grandfather of Trish Davis, Jeremy (Erika) Giampaoli, Kagen Davis, Sam and Amelie Giampaoli. Dear brother of the late Aldo, Louis, Lelio and Amelia Giampaoli. He was the beloved uncle of Mark (Judie) Giampaoli, Michael (Julie) Giampaoli, Sherri (Ron) Moore and the late Craig Giampaoli. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Born in Merced, California John spent most of his life in Asti and Cloverdale. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked for 42 years for Italian Swiss Colony and enjoyed Hunting, Fishing and Gardening. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation from 1pm Friday June 17, 2011 with a Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Fred Young Funeral Home, 428 N. Cloverdale Blvd. Cloverdale. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday June 18, 2011 at St. Peters Catholic Church, Cloverdale. Entombment will be Saturday at 1:15 p.m. at Oakmound Cemetery in Healdsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to North Bay Memorial Hospice, Healdsburg. Arrangements by Fred Young F.H. 894-2540.

Butch, Peggy, Jeremy, Sammy and Amelie,
We wanted to offer our deepest condolences for the passing of your father (grandfather). We, too lost our dear grandfather (Rodger's dad) in March. He was only 73. May your daily moments be filled with peace during this transitory time. Many blessings for your entire family.
