Lena Giorgi Obituary

Died Tuesday November 30, 2010 at Healdsburg Senior Living. She was 101. Lena was the loving wife of the late Albert Giorgi for 51 years. She was the dear mother of Richard (Dorothy) Giorgi; and the adored grandmother of: Mark (Marnie) Giorgi, Dean Giorgi, and Nick (Madeleine) Giorgi; and five great grandchildren. Born in Albion, California she came to Cloverdale and attended Cloverdale schools. She married Albert in 1937 and moved to Healdsburg where she lived and maintained her own home until the last couple of weeks. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service Thursday December 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 1402 University Ave. Healdsburg. Memorial contributions preferred to the Healdsburg Senior Center, 133 Matheson, Healdsburg. Arrangements by: FRED YOUNG F. H. CLOVERDALE, 894-2540

When I look back upon my Greyhound days, Lena always comes to mind. Glad to see she made it into triple digits. I bet she is passing out cookies now.
