Leonard Farmer Obituary

Born in on February 2, 1927 in Anadarko, Ok, passed into rest on September 28, 2010. Leonard came to California with his family during the Dust Bowl migration and served in the US Navy during World War II at the battle of Okinawa. Leonard was a truck driver for many years and spent the last 30 years working as the guy who could do it all in construction. Leonard was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Campbell and was a warm friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Mary; his son Dennis, daughter in law Angela; and his four grandchildren: Shawn, Kelly, Chelsea and Casey, his grandchildren Tyler and Whitney; and his brother Carol. The family is grateful to Kaiser Hospital who gave him warm and sympathetic care. Gifts to any Veteran's support group in lieu of flowers would be warmly appreciated by his family. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on October 16th at the Church of Christ in Campbell.
