Louise Riboni Obituary

Louise Marie Riboni, 97, died October 13, 2010 in Belle Fourche, South Dakota after a short illness. She was born in Sonoma, Feb 10, 1913, the last of 4 children of Daniel and Josephine Kennel. Her mother Josephine Rossini Fischer was also born in Sonoma in 1872. Harry and Josephine Fischer her grandparents owned what is now known as the Montini Ranch. They built the house that is still there to this day. In 1919 her father Daniel Kennel bought the home of Natalia Vallejo Haraszthy on Spain St. and operated a dairy at that location. In 1935 she married Henry "Ted" Riboni and worked with him in the family Plumbing Business until his death in 1994. She was an avid gardener whether it was her large garden or working in her walnut orchard. In 1997 she moved to South Dakota to be near her granddaughters. She is survived by her son Henry Riboni (Bonnie) of Sonoma, her granddaughter Kristina Crim (Steve) of Belle Fourche, SD, her great-grandaughters Emma and Sara Crim of Belle Fourdhe, and her granddaughter Kathlene Riboni of Rapid City, SD. Friends are invited to a visitation on from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October, 21, 2010 at Duggan's Mission Chapel, 525 West Napa St., Sonoma. A Blessing service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday. A private entombment will be held at Mountain Cemetery, Sonoma Donations in Louise's memory are preferred to Pets Lifeline, Sonoma.
