Margie Hunnicutt Obituary

Passed away in Santa Rosa, CA, September 15, 2010 at the age of 90. A native of Port Huron, MI, she was a child of the Great Depression and a young adult during The War. After her father, a railroad engineer, died at 52 years old, her mother turned their home into a boarding house. After World War II, one boarder, Carl Hunnicutt, met and married Margie. They had three children: Bob 59, Wendy 56, Tom 50, plus four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990. From Port Huron they later moved to Sterling Heights, MI and then followed two of their children who moved to California. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. at the Fireside Room of LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL, 4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa.
