Margie Stratton Obituary

Passed away November 20, 2010. Born Sept 14, 1921 in Alexandria, MO. to Delbert and Evaline Maloy. Preceded in death by her first husband Phillip A Johnson; second husband Harold K Stratton; sons: Phillip Sean and Rory Shay Johnson; and her granddaughter Lisa Renee Johnson. Survived by her sister and best friend Betty Good, daughters Sheila Conley, Shannon Adams (Carrol), and Shelley Ramsey (Gerry). Grandchildren Corey Navarro, Jenny Polhemus, Sarah Crayford, Amanda Malloy, Seamus Ramsey, Caitlin Ramsey, and Elias Conley. Great grandchildren, Marissa, Mariah, and Mia Navarro, Steven Malloy, Grace and Natalie Polhemus. Margie started her career as a Psychiatric Technician in Stockton, CA. and became a registered nurse working at Sonoma State Hospital, and later opened her home to developmentally disabled children. She was a wonderful artist as well as a published Poet. She loved her crosswords, and was a die hard republican, making sure she voted in this last election. Margie's family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to Sutter Hospice. Angels: Beth, Adelia, Judith and Sandra, and Special Angels: Leslie Chauncy and her neice Robin Hurt.
