Marie Antoinette Juhl

Antoinette passed away peacefully on September 16, 2010 at her home in Santa Rosa after a brief but courageous battle with acute leukemia. At her death Antoinette was surrounded by her two children and her husband. She was a loving and devoted wife, a loving and caring mother and a loyal friend. She had a positive outlook on life, but was eager to speak out on matters of concern and disapproval. Antoinette was born in El Paso in 1937. As a child she moved with her parents to Los Angeles. She attended parochial schools and graduated from The Queen of Angels High School in 1956. She attended Immaculate Hearts Arts College in Los Angeles. Antoinette married Jeppe Juhl in 1960. They settled in the East Bay and moved to Sonoma County in 2002. Antoinette was a wonderful mother. She assumed numerous volunteer responsibilities in the community and schools. Later she studied an old Japanese Healing Art, Jin Shin Jyutsu. After completing her studies, she became a practitioner of Jin Shin Jyutsu. Antoinette was a true artist and remained an artist throughout her life. Antoinette will be sadly missed by her husband, Jeppe; and devoted children Elizabeth Caldwell, Laurits Juhl; and daughter-in-law Leslie Reed. Friends and family are invited to join in a Memorial Service celebrating Antoinette's life on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oakmont East Recreation Center, 7902 Oakmont Drive, Santa Rosa.
