John, the first time we came to your home in Keller, it was Nobuko's paintings that touched my heart. Not only was she artistically talented in so many areas and wonderfully creative, she was most gracious, giving of herself and that touched the lives of everyone she met. I will never forget the day she took me to her pottery class. Bob and I will treasure the memories of our visits, our trips together, our friendship. She leaves a legacy of the true meaning of a beautiful lady. You and your family are in our hearts and prayers.

My husband and I are so glad we had the opportunity to get to know Nobuko when she and John stayed with us for a bit in Kansas City last fall. She was a warm, kind, caring, and courageous woman. Her family is in our heart and thoughts.

My heart goes out to John and his family. I first met Nobuko and John in the 6o's when John and I worked together. Nobuko was an extraordinary person and a gifted artist in all the areas of art. She was a most gracious host and a great cook. She even learned to live with all of John's quirky puns. My wife Dava and I will miss her presence greatly, but know that she is always nearby.

John and family,
Praying that peace, love, and fond memories will fill the void in your heart at this most difficult time. Thinking of you...

I was so sad to hear of the passing of Nobuko Yazawa Felton. My deepest and heartfelt sympathies go to her dear husband John and to their children and families. I first met Nobuko in 1963 in Japan before she and John were married, and I thought then, as now, 47 years later, that she was an extraordinary person of high intellect and integrity. She lived her life for her family and fought her cancer bravely until the end. Rest in peace, dear lady, we will remember you fondly, with sorrow and with tears.
