Mr. Peters was probably one of the toughest teachers I had growing up and we butted heads on more than one occasion. I didn't realize it in 6th. grade but, I can honestly say he made a great positive impact on my life. I got to know him a little better after I graduated High School and realized what a real treasure Healdsburg had in our school system. He was a great man and I admired his passion for the kids he taught and most of all making a difference in my life. He will be greatly missed. My sincere condolances to the family.

Best remembrances of my Healdsburg Elementary School Principal who once had to ask me "Where did you learn to fight like that?" My deepest condolences to Joyce, my Healdsburg High School accompanist, and to dear friend Jann.

I remember our graduation with our M.A.'s from San Francisco State and teaching with Richard in Healdsburg. That was so long ago.
