Suzanne Bordin Obituary

Passed away on Sept. 8th, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. As was her wish, she died at home with family and friends. She worked for 30 years as Head Psychologist at the North Bay Regional Centers in Napa and Santa Rosa. She leaves a son, David Sandler and his wife Paula of Connecticut and a daughter, Leslie Sandler, of Petaluma; a sister Judith Hoyem of San Francisco and a brother Charles Bordin of Pennsylvania; along with many friends. A celebration of Suzanne's life will be held at her home on October 2nd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran Street, Petaluma, CA 94952.

I worked with Dr. Bordin for many years and was struck by her intellectual prowess and her compassion for clients. She had a strong sense of integrity which she never thought of compromising. I learned a lot about how to do casework from her and value the time I spent working with her and knowing her. Brede Westby
