Theodore G. "Ted" Burton Sr.

Theodore Burton Obituary

Passed away on December 17, 2008 in Healdsburg California. Ted was born in Fort Francis E. Warren, Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was preceded in passing by his father Army Lt. Theodore G. Burton; his mother Lucretia Wolcott Butler Gibbs; his stepfather Byron C. Gibbs; and brother Byron (Butch) Gibbs. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Joan D. Smith Burton; daughters Debra Archer, Patricia Turner; sons Theodore Burton Jr., Randle Burton; brother Gregory Gibbs; sister Mary Anne Stokesbary; grandchildren Jason Archer, Brandon Archer, Shannon Archer, Adam Burton, Lacy Burton, Jared Burton, Derrick Burton, Kori Turner, Chase Turner, Bailey Turner, Morgan Turner; numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. Ted spent 30 plus years as a Long haul Truck driver, he also served 12 years in the California State National Guard and earned the rank of Sgt 1st class.
