John was my neighbor in Petaluma on Prospect Street in the late '60's. He was in a garage band. I recall watching his band practice in his family's garage. It was the coolest thing...

So sorry to hear of John's passing. John and I were neighborhood friends in Santa Rosa. We started playing together and formed the first band I was in back in the 60's. I have such fond memories of those days. He was a very multi talented musician and always a joy to be with. We had a lot of fun. I wish I had stayed in touch with him. My condolences to his family.

It's been many years, memories seem in black and white. Music, laughter and fun we were all in such a hurry to get we knew not where. My path took me away on a twisted trail, to return, I had not failed. We are coming to see you off Thursday, we are halfway there, all of us will reunite so enough. Such memories.

I live in Hidden Valley Lake and met John about 4 years ago. I liked him immediately! He always had a good word to say about everyone we knew. I never heard a negative thought come from him. We had a lot of fun while he was playing his beautiful bass. We both love music and I was taken aback as he was a very accomplished guitarist. We traveled to Monte Rio to see John play with Nick Gravenites and his band. It was a memorable night that I will always remember. John had a beautiful spirit and a very gentle demeanor. When I heard of his passing at too young of an age I was heartbroken. I think of him every day since his passing and I smile when I think of all the good times I had the pleasure to have with him. RIP (return if possible) John. Heaven has a new incredible musician on board. You are truly missed...more each and every day. God bless you John for all the good times you brought to all of us. Guys do not love guys, but I truly do love you!

My sincere sympathies for the passing of John. As a child I spent several summers with John and his brothers at their Sacramento home. My parents were close friends with his mother and dad. He called me when my mother died in 2008. I appreciated hearing from him. May he now rest in peace.

It has probably been more than 35 years since I have seen John, but I always thought of him with fondness. I had been meaning to get up to Lake County to hear John play his music... Sadly, now, it's too late. I remember hanging out with him and Pat Newman while they were jamming at Bill Reyerson's house. I hope they're all having the jam of their lives in the great beyond. RIP John.

As a classmate in the 70's John has been in my life for a long time . Recently we have been engaging in many wonderful moments and ole stories as I cut his adorning locks. That was fun. I will fondly miss this sincere sweet friend.
