My deepest sympathy us extended to Ed's widow and family!
The last time that I saw Ed was in November 1952 as we were discharged from the Army. We served together in Germany. He and I had become good friends but unfortunately we had lost track of each other since then.
Ed spent his early days in Roxborough while I lived in Mount Airy. He graduated from Saint John's while I graduated from LaSalle College High School the same year.
My wife died two years ago so I know of the pain that you are experiencing. The HOPE Group at Holy Redeemer in Swainton, NJ were of great help to me. Their Sister Mary Murphy was a great help. I greatly recommend them for you to contact.
My wife and I moved to Cape May County in 1985. It is ahame that we had not known how closly we resided since Ed and I could have enjoyed it.
