LOUIS KEREKES Obituary



KEREKES, LOUIS S. SR. 60 - of Hammonton, passed away January 24, 2011 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden. Born in Hungary, he lived in Hammonton for the past 36 years. Louis was a 1969 graduate of Penn Treaty College Prep. He served in the US Marines. Louis worked for Barrett Asphalt in plant maintenance for over 30 years, retiring in 2008 and was a member of Local 331. He was a handyman and loved to fish and camp. Louis is survived by his wife Anita (nee Bowman) and his children Louis S. Kerekes, Jr. of Hammonton, Dennis C. Lemons of Pittsburgh, Jamie-Lynn Kerekes and Danielle L. Lemons both of Hammonton. Brother to John Kerekes and Andy (Paula) Kerekes and grandfather to Dominic D. Lemons. Dear friend of Cheryl and Bruce Fichetola and family. Louis is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and close friends who were considered family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday 9:00am with services at 11:00am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton. Burial St. Bernard's Cemetery in Dorothy, NJ. Donations may be made to American Kidney Fund 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010 Rockville, Md. 20853.(www.marinellafuneralhome.com).

We love and miss you so much. You never realize what you have until it's gone and in this case it's you. I wish we can just have all of our time with you back. If we could have just one more day.
