GEORGE MARINARI Obituary



MARINARI, GEORGE THOMAS JR. 77 - of Sea Isle City, died on July 25, 2012. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa. the son of the late George T. and Rosalie Peterson Marinari, Sr. He was a former resident of Roxbor-ough, Pa. summering here for many years and moving here permanently in 2001. George received a degree in Associate of Science from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science after attending night classes. He then was employed as a pharmaceutical representative before retiring at the age of 67. He was well respected in his community as he embodied the meaning of volunteer by serving two terms as President of the AARP Chapter #170 of Sea Isle City and being a member of the Sea Isle City Tax Association. He also was active in many other community events. He is survived by his wife of forty two years, Georgianna Phillips Marinari; a sister, Rosalie (David) Akouka; sister in law, Peggy (Al) Thornton; two nephews, one niece and cousins. A memorial service will be held at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ on Saturday, September 29, 2012, at 11 am where friends may visit 10 to 11 am.
