Frank, Sam, Mark and families,

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Both your parents were and always will be part of wonderful childhood through adult memories. I was most sad about my parents leaving Peru in that I knew visiting neighbors would be missed.

Your Dad was great. I remember his perfectly green and manicured lawn. (no dogs allowed!) Lots of fun times and conversations jogging with him in the wee hours of the morning before the paperboy was up... him all bundled up and ready to roll no matter the weather. :) Although with my legs being longer, I went just as far as him, but a lot more bouncing up and down.

I'm happy you were close enough to visit him often.

Thinking of you all with fond memories of the revving engines, green lawn, grapes in the summer sun, voices before canon balls and splashing water, bird feeder in the tree out front and flowers by the porch, visiting in the front room with sun filtering in, pasta canisters in the kitchen, little spruce trees in the front lawn, Franky's red convertible under the tree in the front turning red with color, Marc with his head under the hood, your Mom doing laps in the pool, running with your Dad, visiting with them outside, and Pat always hammering on the house. :)

With love and sympathy,

Audrey Verso (Smith)

My condolences to you Frank. My father was your fathers roommate at Evergreen, and we were so blessed that he was my dads roommate. My father always expressed this and my kids loved to interact with him. Your dedication to your father was so apparent and a beautiful expression of love, with your faithful visits and care for him. Our prayers are with your family.
