Joan Whitlock Obituary
She was a retired supervisor for Philip Morris Tobacco Co. Mrs. Whitlock was a past president of the Morning Coffee League Bowling Team at Holiday Bowl.
She is survived by her husband, Harold W. Whitlock; a daughter, Tracey Tong and husband, Gary; grandchildren, Lauren and Travis Tong; a sister, Lynn Clausen.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to your local animal shelter. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.

I was so sorry to hear of Joan's passing. I have fond memories of you and her visiting Guy and me. So glad we got to know her. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Hold on to your memories. They will keep you going.

To Joan's family,
The Tuesday Morning Coffee League greatly misses Joan. When I pull into the parking lot and don't see her car, it just tears at my heart. The response to her request for contributions to an animal shelter was overwhelming on the league. Please accept our sympathies.
