Maria Reed Obituary

God has another Angel, Maria Anna Reed, 83, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at Greenfield Reflections of Petersburg.

Born in Benshiem, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Anna Massoth, and the widow of Gordon W. Reed Jr.

She is survived by a son, Gordon W. Reed III and wife, Susan, of Chesterfield; a daughter, Joyce Harville and husband, Wes, of Prince George; four grandchildren, Justin, Tiffany and Erica Harville, and Jeremy Reed; two great-grandchildren, Devan and Desiree Harville.

A graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
