Robert Canoles Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Marie A. Canoles; two daughters, Kimberly C. Mooney and husband, Patrick, of Chester, Cathy C. Moore and husband, Chris, of Matoaca; grandson, Jason Taylor of Chester; and brother, Bill Canoles and wife, Betty Ann, of Chester.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2007, in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with Dr. Doug Echols officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome and contributions may be made to the Enon Baptist Church New Sanctuary Fund, 13607 N. Enon Church Road., Chester, VA 23836. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.

We are sorry to see Robert leave us. He was a great neighbor, actually he and Marie,Kim, and Kathy were our favorite neighbors. We enjoyed his company for thirty years and he will be sorely missed. Our Lord has waited on him and he has now joined his Lord and maker.We express our condolences to his family relatives and friends. May he be at Peace.

Aunt Marie and family-
I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Robert's passing. Uncle Robert was an extraordinary person-- always upbeat and a such a great sense of humor. I loved going with my dad to meet Uncle Robert for breakfast at Yankee's where I got to hear all his funny stories about real estate appraising. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed immensely. Please know that I am thinking of you.
