Barbara Crocker Obituary

Ms. Barbara Anne Crocker, of 620 Higgins St., Wakefield, departed this life Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010.

She was born on March 15, 1951, to the late Henry and Taggie Crocker of Wakefield. As a youth she attended the Sussex County Public School System. Barbara Anne had a love for cooking, shopping, her children and grandchildren.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Jarvis Stringfield (Pamela) of Wakefield; one daughter, Mysohia Crocker of Petersburg; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Elizabeth Crocker of Wakefield; four brothers, Harold Moore (Gloria) of Woodbridge, William Henry Crocker (Bernice) of Bronx, N.Y., Alexander Crocker (Spencer) of Smithfield and Charles Crocker (Willie Mae); one aunt, Addie Mae Brown of Wakefield; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at Triumph In Victory Christian Church, located at 207 N. County Drive, Wakefield. The interment will be in Booker T. Memorial Park, Wakefield. Ms. Crocker may be viewed from noon to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family will assemble at her sister's residence, 10230 Branch St. Wakefield.
