Dorothy Holt Obituary
She was a native of Petersburg, Va., and was the daughter of the late Claude and Sadie Mustian. She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Lee Holt.
She is survived by her husband, Herman F. Holt Jr.; son, Donald W. Holt of Colonial Heights; a daughter, Peggy Sue Sutton of Petersburg; two grandsons, Thomas Wayne Sutton and wife, Faren, and James "J.T." Tyler Holt; three granddaughters, Jennifer L. Walker, Melissa W. Petty and husband, Jim, and Meagan R. Holt; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Claude Mustian and wife, Goldie.
A memorial service will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

My prayers are with you all. I will miss her more than words can say. She has always been there for me and telling me little ways to get through life's little bumps! She was like my second mom and I will always have her in my heart. Remember as Dot would say "The grass isn't always greener on the other side, you still have to mow it".
