Sallie Rosso Obituary

Sallie Flowers Rosso, 86, of Petersburg, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010.

She was the daughter of the late William and Sallie Boswell Flowers, and the widow of Dominick Rosso. She was a long-time member of Monumental Baptist Church in Petersburg. Mrs. Rosso retired from Fort Lee as a civil service employee.

She is survived by her daughters: Donna R. Moulton and husband, Gary, of Colonial Heights, Jo Anne R. Jones and husband, Dick, of Columbia, Md.; son, Jon B. Rosso of Petersburg; grandchildren, Everett Moulton of Dinwiddie County and Diana Moulton of Hopewell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in Southlawn Memorial Park at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10, with Pastor Barry Ginn of Monumental Baptist Church officiating. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

Sorry for your loss. I remember Sallie when we worked together at Maintenance Division, DOL at Fort Lee, VA. She was a very dear and nice person. She will be truly missed.
