Uncle Nicky was a kind, generous, and loving man. He spoke with love and even in times of pain he was still a very loving gentleman. He is at peace now and although he will be missed, he will always be in the hearts of those who loved him.

Dear Family,
I knew Nick very briefly. He came to my house one day during our yard sale. He wanted to buy a snoopy clock that we had. He told me all about how he liked to fix clocks. I asked him if he thought he could fix a clock that belonged to my late sister and I would pay him. He said he would try and he would take care of the clock while it was in his possession. I just felt how sincere he was and totally trusted him. I wouldn't even take his money for the snoopy clock and just gave it to him as a token of appreciation. Nick called me about a week later and told me that he was able to fix my sister's clock and I made arrangements to meet him at his house. I thought I was going to meet him at the door, pay him and leave. I was so wrong. Nick invited me in where we had the greatest conversation. He told me all about his family and his life. We spoke about how sentimental the clock was to me and he said he knew that when we first met. He wouldn't even take any money from me. I said maybe we could go for a cup of coffee sometime but he told me not to worry about it. I always thought about Nick and thought maybe I should call him just to say hi. Somehow life always gets in the way and I never called. I did often think about him and still did when I look at my sister's clock still hanging on my wall. He truly was a very good man. It's funny how some people just touch your life even for a brief time. You should all be proud of the kind of person Nick was. I will never forget him and will always think fondly about our conversation especially when I look at my sister's clock.

Dear Judy and family,
I love your father dearly. When he spoke he reminded me of my father's voice. I can't think of Uncle Nicky without thinking of Aunt Daisy. She was such a kind and beautiful women. Your Dad was very brave and I will forever remember his smile. Love Terrie
