Albert Vanderbilt Obituary

VANDERBILT, ALBERT RUDKIN "PETER" Died May 11, Saunderstown, RI. He was born in 1924 in NYC, to Joseph Belcher and Adrienne Rudkin Vanderbilt. He attended the Buckley and Millbrook Schools and the Stevens Institute of Technology. He married Elizabeth Street of Port Washington, NY in 1950, after starting work as an engineer for McCord Corporation in Detroit, MI. He retired as President of the McCord Winn Division of Textron Corporation in Winchester, MA. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, seven children and four grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Veronica Chapel, Narragansett, RI on Friday, May 15th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date.
