Richard MacDonnell Obituary

MacDONNELL, RICHARD passed away on Tuesday August 31, 2016. Mr. MacDonnell was employed by Lehigh Portland Cement Company as Distribution Terminal Manager in Port of Providence for 35 years before retiring in 2001. He was a past member of the Pawtuxet Athletic Club, South County Rod and Gun Club, Wincheck Gun Club. He was an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his sister Shirley Rowe and her husband Arthur Rowe in Sarasota, FL, niece Heather Rowe in Georgia and nephew Robert Rowe in Ohio. He had a brother, the late Gerald MacDonnell and he was a friend of the late Paul Pfanstiehl and his son Christopher. He also leaves behind his 3 beloved dogs. Arrangements by Winfield Funeral Home in N. Scituate RI, services and burial at RI Veterans Cemetery will be private.

Richard is a Marlboro Ma friend and high school classmate. In the last few years we had resumed contact. He is missed.
