Kenneth Lynn Gipe Kenneth Lynn Gipe, 69, of Willow Hill, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle, PA. Born June 26, 1944, in Willow Hill, PA, he was the son of the late Jerry and Lula Bock Gipe. A 1963 graduate of Fannett-Metal High School, Kenny went on to work for Rife Motor Company for 50 years as a parts manager, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed coaching Fannettsburg Little League, watching baseball and college basketball, the backyard pool, coin collecting, going to meat raffles, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Spring Run United Methodist Church. Surviving is his beloved wife of 50 years, Wanda M. Cornelius Gipe, whom he married February 22, 1964; three children, K. Mark Gipe (wife Becky) of Carlisle, PA; Lori McAllen Spring Run, PA; and Steven Gipe (wife Mary Ellen) of Mercersburg, PA; and five grandchildren, Lindsy, Lauren, Ashlynn, Emma Grace, and Kenton Shade. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Warren, Paul, and Merle; and sisters, Mabel and Jean Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 11 AM at the Spring Run United Methodist Church, 16667 Main St., Spring Run, PA, 17262; where Pastor Philip Foster and Rev. Marlin A. "Butch" Neil will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at the Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, PA, 17220, and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Interment will follow the service in Reformed Church Cemetery, Fannettsburg, PA. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the above church and address.
