I attended Shippensburg University from 1979 to 1983. Dr. Mao was one of my favorite professors, and one I most remember. I was sorry to read of his passing in the Shippensburg University Magazine. My deepest sympathy to his family.

This man was one of my first college English Teachers. When he spoke of his American Dream, it made me all the more certain of mine. He will be deeply missed.
