Marilyn Vera White Noll, 77, passed away at the Chambersburg Hospital on Thursday, July 7, 2016. Born August 29, 1938, in Massena, NY, she was the daughter of the late William Frank and Vera Hartom White.
A computer programmer/systems analyst for the Federal Government, Marilyn served for 25 years, prior to her retirement. She enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends, stamp collecting, reading and collecting books, and gardening, especially working with her favorite flower, the Iris.
Surviving is her husband, Robert O. Beecher of PA; three children, Cheryl L. Kirkey of PA, Deb Hubler (Rob) of PA, and Cindy Hawks (Glenn) of VA; two grandchildren, Melissa Hubler and Scott Varner; a great-granddaughter, Lilly Vaughan; three siblings, Ginger White (Pete) of WA, Robert White (Kerry) of CT, and Dorothy LaBrake of PA; a niece, Suzanne Richardson-White; a nephew, Zonker White; and close friend, Richard Noll. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald J. Kirkey.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. Online condolences may be offered on her Book of Memories page at

Marilyn was quite a mentor and friend. She was always willing to help no matter what. I only wish I had known she had moved back to PA. She has touched so many.

We enjoyed playing cards and sharing deserts with Bob and Marilyn. Marilyn loved to read and had lots of books. She always had something uplifting and inspiring to say each time we greeted. We will miss her, our condolences to Bob and family. Walter (Sonny), Norma and Michael.
