Gottlieb Schmierer Obituary

LEMMON - Gottlieb Schmierer, 89, Lemmon, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at Five Counties Nursing Home in Lemmon. Survivors include four daughters, Sharon Rice and Sandra Schmierer, both of Lemmon, Patricia Ainslie, Merced, Calif., and Pamela Reimer, Scranton, N.D.; one brother, Dave Schmierer, Lodi, Calif.; two sisters, Pauline Heidinger, Lodi, and Amelia Waggomen, Spokane, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha, in 2004. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, May 22, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 23, at Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon, and one hour before services, which will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Spencer Memorial Presbyterian Church in Lemmon, with the Rev. Webster P. Brower officiating. Burial will be at Gallaway Cemetery near Meadow. An online guestbook is available at www.evansonjensenfuneralhome.com.
