Joe was born in Abington, PA on August 11, 1940. He was raised in Reading, 50 miles northwest of Philadelphia, and graduated from Muhlenberg High School in 1958.
He leaves behind three sons: Dennis Aiman, 51, Reading, Donald Aiman, 49, Flying Hills, and Joseph Aiman III, 36, Ocala, FL; two daughters, Melissa Aiman, 45, Muhlenberg Twp, and Jennifer Blackwell-Yale, 40, Robesonia; and eight grandchildren. Joe also leaves behind his wife, Delah (Dee) and five stepchildren and eight step-grandchildren.
Joe enjoyed working with computers for 41 years. In 1971 he began his lifelong passion for preaching and he became a licensed supply pastor, last ministering at Faith Bible Church in Willcox in 2012. Joe was vice president for five years with the Willcox Ministerial Assoc.
In his free time, Joe enjoyed Phillies, D backs and Cubbies baseball, doing counted cross stitch and crossword puzzles, staying connected with family and friends on the web, and especially playing chicken foot (w/dominos) with Dee and friends. Joe's family and friends are comforted by his peaceful passing and remembering his frequent smiles and hearty laugh, but he will be greatly missed.
Contributions may be made in his name to the Charles Wm Leighton Jr. Hospice, P.O. Box 115, Willcox, AZ 85644. Memorial services will be held in Willcox, AZ.
