Peggy was an incredibly hardworking and giving person. The strength and wisdom she passed on to me many, many years ago still lives within me today. She changed my life for the better and I am saddened that she left this world at such a young age. My condolences to her family and friends at losing such a wonderful woman

I will miss you Peggy especially when we would great each other jokingly as "cousins." More importantly Peggy exemplified true grassroots leadership and always fought hard for equality in Nevada. She was such a genuine, kind person. You will be surely missed!! I pray that God be with your family through this difficult time.

The world must cherish such brave, socially-minded people like her. In our present age of selfish consumerism and greed, she stands out like a rare gem.

So sorry to hear of this great woman's death. I hope it comforts you to know that death is like sleep in that the dead like Peggy are unconscious and can longer suffer because of sickness and pain. She was truly a child of God and probably knew in her heart that one day soon God "will deliver the poor one crying for help." He will "also bring relief to the afflicted one and whoever has no helper." Ms. Pierce tried to be that helper for these ones and was an advocate for fairness and equality through the legislative process.--Psalm 72:12.
