Born in Reading, he was a son of Peter and Esther (Otto) Warker.
Mr. Warker was employed by the U.S. Foreign Service with postings in Prague and Fagreb for the U.S. Government Aid programs to Yugoslavia; later he worked as the Washington Editor for Business International, a New York Co. In 1974, he was named Director of In-ternational Affairs of the TRW Corporation, retiring in 1992.
Peter received degrees from Penn State University and Harvard University.
He served as a radio operator during WW II on several ships of the U.S. Merchant Marines.
He as a volunteer in GED and ESL programs at Little Flower Catholic Church, and was a member of the Washington Shakespeare Reading Group.
Surviving are sons: Stephen, Philip and Andrew Warker; and a daughter, Ann Martin; and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and John.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, in St. Aloysius RC Church.
Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 9 to 10 a.m. at the Warker-Trout-man Funeral Home, 726 High St., Pottstown. Memorial contributions may be sent to Catholic Charities, 924 G. St., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20001.

Pat and I have just learned of Peter's passing. He was an old and valued friend, room mate and colleague over more than half a century whom we will greatly miss. We send our love and condolences to Jane, Philip, Andrew and Ann.
