In 1988 Cliff and his son Steven formed Fitton & Fitton Heavy Equipment and worked together for 12 years until 2000 when Cliff finally retired. He was a past member of the Springville Lions, the VFW and a past 4H and Cub Scout Leader. Surviving family includes his wife Ida Fitton of Porterville. 3 sons: David Fitton and wife Cheri of Strathmore. Clifford Fitton and wife Margaret of Springville and Steven Fitton and wife Theresa of Springville. Daughter Mary Hunwardsen and husband Rick of Merced. 2 brothers: Ed Fitton and wife Melba of WA and Don Fitton and wife Virginia of Palo Alto and 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. What a nice man. I have great memories of visiting the ranch on weekends, in the 70's, when my Dad, Marjorie, Kelly and I would come to visit. Cliff and Ida were the nicest, most anchored people I had ever met and no one I have met since then has topped them. The Chatters and Fittons go way back. I remember Roland being a good friend of my Grandpa and I remember his visits to Grandpa's home. Godspeed Cliff.

To all the fitton family.

our condolences on the loss of cliff Sr.
He was a great guy to talk with.
I knew him when I worked at the parts house, and I enjoyed the time when we would have a cup of coffee together.
