Robert L. Jones
Robert L. Jones, 90 passed away, Thursday, October 10, 2013.
Beloved husband of Janet E. Jones; loving father of Casey (Lori) Jones of Newport Coast, CA and the late Candi Lee and Thomas R. (the late Brenda) Jones; dear grandfather of Janet Rose Jones; dear brother of Helen Jones of Camarillo, CA; a fun loving friend to many.
Bob graduated from the U of Wis. in 1947 with the help of the GI Bill after having served in the Air Force as a navigator bombardier on a B-24 (in WWII, the "big one"). He met and married Jan in 1947.
They moved to California in 1954. He was a natural born, successful salesman. He started his own business in 1966 in Danville, CA. Bob retired in 1986 in Redding, CA. He was a mans man, joke teller, avid hunter and fisherman and golfer. Bob hunted until he was 84. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was a joy to be around.
Services: Celebration of Life Service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, MO Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ducks Unlimited or American Cancer Society. Memorial visitation Tuesday 5-7 p.m.
