Jones, Robert L., 90 passed away, Thursday, October 10, 2013.

Beloved husband of Janet E. Jones; loving father of Casey (Lori) Jones of Newport Coast, CA and the late Candi Lee and Thomas R. (the late Brenda) Jones; dear grandfather of Janet Rose Jones; dear brother of Helen Jones of Camarillo, CA; a fun loving friend to many.

Bob graduated from the U of Wis. in 1947 with the help of the GI Bill after having served in the Air Force as a navigator bombardier on a B-24 (in WWII, the "big one"). He met and married Jan in 1947. They moved to California in 1954. He was a natural born, successful salesman. He started his own business in 1966 in Danville, CA. Bob retired in 1986 in Redding, CA. He was a mans man, joke teller, avid hunter and fisherman and golfer. Bob hunted until he was 84. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was a joy to be around.

Services: Celebration of Life Service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ducks Unlimited or American Cancer Society. Memorial visitation Tuesday 5-7 p.m. Friends may sign the family?s on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

You and Bob had so many wonderful times together. We will always remember the great times we had via Rotary activities. May God be with you during this difficult times.
