" Chuck " was a man who would except nothing less than perfect and by instilling that into the men and woman who worked for him he has left behind a legacy that few men could ever match. he changed the paving world in a way that will be passed on for many generations to come.as for me that man touched my hart in a way that i will never forget he pushed me to realize my potential and always strive for the best and never settel for less "chuck" you will be missed but never forgoten in my lifetime thanks for all that you left for us to better our selves.

Chuck made everyone around him better.Driven by a standard of excellence that the rest of his crew wanted to emulate.Chuck would except failure......but not excuses.I know I speak for other pavers who are better having had the privilege of working for this man.H. G. Wells said the greatness of a man is' what he leaves to grow, and whether he started others to think along fresh lines with a vigor that persisted after him'.Chuck will be missed, but what he left behind with those who worked for him will continue inspire others when shared around the water cooler.
