My memories of Lloyd go way back to when we were kids. He must have been born with that laugh because I remember it when he was a kid, even before his voice changed. I have not seen Lloyd much in the last several years but have always kept current on him and the family by way of the family grapevine. He was my oldest cousin and I always respected and loved him. May he rest in peace.

I stayed with he and Alice in Sterling City before they moved to Cottonwood. We went hunting arrowheads and other artifacts he was a very strong man. He exercised with a short railroad track. He always won
the tough man fite at the Lumber mill annual event. I worked for him at the Gas Station. He was always laughing and expressing himself with his one and only laugh. He helped people out that had trouble and some times
fixed the car for free if they had no funds.I grew to love and respect him for what he was. And yes he took no crap off those who gave him a bad time.He worked hard all his life. When he lost Alice it was very hard on him, they were high school sweethearts. I saw him a few months ago and have some pics of him in front of the shop. LLoyd will be missed by more folks than we know. God bless you and keep you in his rest. Cousin Gary Forester

I am so sorry to hear that uncle Lloyd passed. My sincere condolences to the kids and grandkids. My favorite memories of uncle Lloyd involve getting cokes from his coke machine, listening to him laugh, and rides to the cottonwood dump in the back of uncle Lloyd's pickup truck. On one of these wonderful "treasure trips" we (Kenny, myself, I think Sherri was there, and Janet) all sang "ding-ding, Janet's getting married the whole way to the dump! Lord knows why that was so fun, probably because it made Janet so angry :-).
The last time I saw him I stopped into the station and we just caught up a bit. It was good to see him. I will miss that laugh. DaLene
